We have faith that a new day will dawn and that the sun will raise. We have faith that there will be water when we turn on the tap and electricity when we click on the kettle for our first cuppa.
We have faith that our work will still be there when we turn up for the start of our working week.
Every day we don’t spend any energy on thinking those things won’t be there.
Faith was an important word to Jesus in the Bible.
He said faith in Him would save you.
Faith is quite like trust. So I ask you what do you trust in?
We know that circumstances can change very quickly in life and things that seems very solid can be taken away and it can feel that nothing is dependable.
There is some one who is worth trusting in – in all situations and that is Jesus.
He loved seeing people who showed faith and often it made him so happy to see people exercising their faith in Him.
The Bible says in the book of Hebrews 11 v 6 “Without faith it is impossible to please God for he that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”.
There is a great little story about a elephant and a mouse walking on a bridge. Once they get across the bridge the mouse turns to the elephant and says “Wow didn’t we shake that bridge”.
Faith is walking alongside God and seeing Him work into your life.
May you have an encounter with faith in Jesus.
Call on Him.
He is waiting.
